Grousewoods WET Wednesday Evening Training

Make sure you have a good, bright headlamp for this WET, as there are many forested areas on this map and something is telling me you may end up wandering in these for some time.

There will be four courses:

• Long Advanced (technical): ~4.4km on the map, consider +40% in the field. Climb: 200m
• Shorter Advanced (technical): ~3,3km on the map, add +25% or so in the field. Climb: 140m
• Moderate-ish: (less technical overall): ~ 2.9km. Add some (route choices etc...) . Climb: 125m
• Sharp Beginner: mostly easy, but a few dark forest sections (on path) and more tricks than a complete beginner course. Climb: 75m

Most pin flags will have reflectors. Not all reflectors will face your way ... Can't have it all.

Caution on Stairs: Most of the wooden stairs linking the trails network haven't been maintained for a while and all the grip tape is gone. So the stairs and wooden paths are extremely slippery if wet, which it will be... So please slow down on these.

There are public washrooms at the start/finish, and also at the Cleveland Dam parking lot 5 min away.
