6:15pm Introduction to Orienteering for Beginners

6:30pm Starts

8pm Course Closure, participants must report to the Finish before leaving.

Courses

There are 3 courses ranging in diffuculty. If you are new to orienteering, or have family running with you, run the begginer course. If you are a little more experinced, run the intermediate, and if you want a real challlenge, run the Advanced course.

Safety Precautions

Always use good judgement and common sense. Carry a whistle at all times. Headlamps are essential to see and be seen. Take care when crossing roads and parking lots. Watch out for other runners, cyclists, and trail/sidewalk users.

Parking/Start Location

There is a free public parking lot off of Princess Ave. The start location is to the East of the parking lot, underneath a sheltered picnic area. Refer to the map.
