Description

Hume Park is a small but challenging park last used 2 years ago. Expect darkness and slippery footing so refresh your batteries and wear agressive tread.

Schedule

6:15pm Introduction to Orienteering for Beginners

6:30pm Starts

8pm Course Closure, participants must report to the Finish before leaving.


Safety Precautions

Always use good judgement and common sense. Carry a whistle at all times. Headlamps are essential to see and be seen. Take care when crossing roads and parking lots. Watch out for other runners, cyclists, and trail/sidewalk users.

Parking/Start Location:
Meet beneath the Hume Park School. 800 mts by foot from Braid SkyTrain. If you can offer or need a ride, leave a note when you register.

Toilets in the park are open until 8:30.

Post-Event Dining: There are lots of Korean places nearby.
