This month's Why Just Run is part of National Orienteering Week. We encourage and welcome beginners who are interested in finding out more or who want to try out orienteering. We'll have people on hand to give instructions so you have a great time!

This is one of our forest maps with lots of interesting trails and some areas of forest which are surprisingly runnable.

Meet at the gazebo near the gate at the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve. Registration starts at 9:30am with starts from 10:00am until 11:00am. Course closes at 1:00 pm, and all runners must report to the finish by this time, even if you've not finished the course. This is a safety precaution.

This area comprises mainly trail running with some forest orienteering on the Elite and Expert courses. Wear full body cover on those courses. Prepare for muddy feet if the rain continues - bring spare shoes
