A sure sign of spring is the Why Just Run at Rice Lake! This orienteering event is part of the National Orienteering Week program across Canada.
For 2011 we have partnered up with MOMAR to create a stronger connection between adventure racing and orienteering. As part of this effort, we will be offering a mountain bike only course, plus a "duathlon" for those who want to try to navigate both by bike and by foot in one race!
Registration opens at 9:30 am and starts are from 10 am to 11 am. Courses close at 2 pm.
Meet at the usual spot, at the entrance to the Seymour Demonstration Forest. Here is a google map with directions.
**You have to sign-up below before Friday, May 6, 8 PM, in order to guarantee a printed map for the race! **
