OAK is the Lower Mainland’s orienteering program for kids, run in partnership with the Greater Vancouver Orienteering Club (GVOC). Orienteering teaches valuable life skills including terrain running, map-reading and navigation, as well as building confidence, independence and respect for nature.

OAK offers a dedicated program for 11 to 18 year olds centered on the North Shore.

Schedule:

  • September 1
  • September 15
  • October 6
  • October 13
  • November 3
  • November 10

Sessions will run from 10am to noon.

Cost for the entire group of 6 sessions is $60.

This includes:

  • 6 coaching sessions at various locations.
  • FREE entry into the Fall WJR events
  • FREE annual membership in the Greater Vancouver Orienteering Club (GVOC).
  • FREE safety whistle, to be brought to each session.
