Come all to this week's WET for a nice recovery after the greatest and wettest Lynn Valley Adventure Run! Three short fully-paved city sprint courses for you choosing:

  1. Beginner - short distance and not much interaction with vehicular traffic
  2. Advanced - longer distance with route choice options, almost the same controls as the Expert
  3. Expert - the full thing, longer legs with devious control placement

It's getting dark early - bring a headlamp and wear high-visibility clothes. Advanced and Expert courses have some interaction with a vehicular and bikes traffic, and some blind parking entrances along the way.

Start location

The start location is on the west side of the George Wainborn Park, under the tree canopy. Street parking and other Downtown parking options should be available. Bus routes on Granville, the closest SkyTrain statiion is Yaletown-Roundhouse.

GVOC Membership

You must be an active member of an orienteering club in order to participate, so please do the 2021 GVOC club membership and waiver if haven’t done it yet this year. If you are new to orienteering, you get a 50% discount when you join the club and it costs only $10 for an adult and $5 for juniors. If you are not sure if you are a member - send the membership team an email and ask.

Registration deadline

Please sign up by 11:59am (noon) on October 20th so we know how many maps to print.
