BC Children's Hospital Wednesday Evening Training
June 19th 2019 6:30pm - 8:00pm
Organizers: Safder Raza (Event Director), Stan Woods (Coach), Joanne Woods (Membership)
Description
This week's WET will take place on the BC Children's hospital map, with courses ranging from nice easy run in the neighborhood to complex navigational puzzles with lots of route choice!
For those still fairly new to orienteering, the Adventure course will be a longer/slightly trickier course than the Beginner (meant for kids and first time orienteers), and will let you explore all the areas this map has to offer!
For experienced orienteers, we'll have a Dog-Bones style course to spice things up a bit. For a "Dog-Bones" course, controls are in pairs and must be visited as a pair, in either direction, and pairs can be done in any order.
We'll start at the north side of the building at Braemer Park, see below for more details. Please sign up by Tuesday afternoon so we know how many maps to print. See you all there!
