Burnaby Fraser River Foreshore Wednesday Evening Training
October 24th 2018 6:30pm - 8:00pm
Organizers: John Rance (Event Director), Graeme Rennie (Coach)
Description
Second event on this map and the first in the dark. Six loops, each returning to a central hub. Loops vary between 710 and 1150 metres for a straight line total of 4900 metres. The concept is similar to the recent SFU event except the loops are longer. Only a small portion of the map will be used so there will be lots of orienteers crossing and recrossing each other.
Do the loops in any order and do as many or as few as you wish.
Schedule
6:15pm Introduction to Orienteering for Beginners
6:30pm Starts
8pm Course Closure, participants must report to the Finish before leaving.
