Description
There are three courses. The beginner and intermediate course are normal, with the expert having two or three controls within the control circle (placed too close together to be technically legal). Be sure to check your control description! There will be control descriptions both on the map and loose.
Bring charged headlamps, as there are few lights in the park.
Meet under the picnic shelter beside the parking lot!

6:15pm Introduction to Orienteering for Beginners
6:30pm Starts
8pm Course Closure, participants must report to the Finish before leaving.

Beginner:
Safety Precautions
Always use good judgement and common sense. Carry a whistle at all times. Headlamps are essential to see and be seen. Take care when crossing roads and parking lots. Watch out for other runners, cyclists, and trail/sidewalk users.
Parking/Start Location
Parking is free in parking lot E at Confederation Park.
