Meet near the front of the Arena (not the usual spot behind). There are toilets in the arena. Check your batteries because there are some dark spots. The beginner course will be on mostly lighted paths and park roads. Control descriptions on map and separate.

Danger: You must cross McBride Boulevard ( the busy road ) via the pedestrian overpass.


6:15pm Introduction to Orienteering for Beginners by super coaches Stan and Adam.

6:30pm Starts

8pm Course Closure, participants must report to the Finish before leaving.


Safety Precautions

Always use good judgement and common sense. Carry a whistle at all times. Headlamps are essential to see and be seen. Take care when crossing roads and parking lots. Watch out for other runners, cyclists, and trail/sidewalk users.
