Dog-bones (Long)

Dog-bones (Short)

Organizers: Bruce Rennie (Event Director), Robyn Rennie (Assistant), John Rance (Coach)

Map: Rice Lake

Results are posted with many NCs (non-competitive) due to either (i) the large(!) black bear seen near the cycle track or (ii) that people decided to cut short the physical course designed by the Rennies, who were running true to form. Many enjoyed the after party of Pizza (not enough supplied, sorry) and Beer (ample supplied).

Description: Dog-bones event. 2 courses with deliberately short (sprint) legs between each pair of controls. Long course will be off trail for some legs (gaitors advised). Short course will be mostly on the trails.

{Dog-bones is an event which has a pair of controls linked by a line. Both controls of a single pair must be visited, in any order before visiting the next pair of controls which you choose. All pairs must be visited to complete the course.}
