Camosun Bog Wednesday Evening Training

Thanks to those who came out! Hope everyone enjoyed the format. Results are posted along with course maps. I assigned a time bonus/deduction of 30 seconds per peg. Hope to see everyone next week!

Wednesday's event will be a peg race at Camosun Bog (provided I can find some pegs). This type of event is a mass start with a handicapping format. At each of the pegged controls, there will be a limited number clothespins or pegs that can be grabbed by the first few competitors to arrive. If you're not fast enough, 'No peg for you!'. If you collect a peg, you have to visit an extra control en route to the next pegged control, adding distance for faster competitors. Final time will be determined by finishing time minus time bonuses for number of pegs collected. Peg.

Meet at the covered area by the Queen Elizabeth Elementary School parking lot off of Camosun and 17th at 6:30pm for sign in and debrief.

Remember your headlamps as it will be dark out in the forest!

Also, for members who ordered t-shirts, Louise and Alison will be collecting money on Wednesday evening. It's $44 for short sleeved, and $55 for long sleeved. If you don't bring your money, I'll bring my ski mask and my crow bar...Kidding. Or am I?
