All club members are invited to the first Wednesday Evening Training (WET) of the year!

Two courses will be available, a longer course with a few slightly tricky controls and a shorter, easier course suitable for beginners. Printed maps will be available for pick up at the start on Wednesday June 30 starting at 6pm. Start the course any time between 6 and 7pm, and please finish by 8:30pm. A trainer will be available to give tips to beginners at the start.

The controls will be marked by pin flags, and the pin flags will be left on the course until the morning of July 2, so if you wish, you can run or walk this course on Canada Day instead of on Wednesday evening. Please note that printed maps can only be picked up on Wednesday evening, so if you wish to do the course on Canada Day, email gvoc.membership@gmail.com for a pdf copy of the map. This course will not be on MapRunF.

Please register by Tuesday evening so we know how many maps to print.

Please note that the park and beach will be VERY busy on Canada Day. Consider coming early in the day, and/or walk or cycle to the start. Wednesday evening will be less busy. Also, there is a chance some of the pin flags may go missing.

The event is free to all club members.

You must be a member of the club in order to participate and a Declaration of Health form must also be filled out on the day of the event.
