Organizer: Nathan Detroit Barrett (Event Director)
Come on out to this week's evening training at the PNE!
Format will be 2-3 short-ish loops with a mass start at 6:45pm.
Each loop is designed with groups of 3 or so controls 'clumped' together, with ample space between these 'clumps'. The intention here is to promote reading ahead a control or two (or three or four!), in the hopes that you can flow through these 'clumped' controls. Also, loops are fun. Bonus loops for those foolhardy enough! I suppose I will also allow individual starts, but I guarantee it won't nearly be as much fun.
Meet by Southwest corner of the Pacific Colliseum (see map). Should be parking on the streets near this and buses run down Renfrew and Hastings.
Remember your headlamp, and hope to see everyone out there!
Apparently, since I'm an amateur when it comes to making maps, the courses are actually half the distance I quoted earlier, so we're going to remove the 2 loops option and put everyone on 3. If you really only want to run 3km instead of the 4.5, then you can let me know the day of.
Thanks all for coming out. Managed to avoid the really heavy rain for the most part.
Results are posted, so let me know if I messed something up.
Hope everyone enjoyed themselves out there!
