Map: Renfrew Ravine

Come out to Renfrew Ravine for this weeks WET! The format will be Farsta, which is basically a one person relay with a mass start. The Renfrew Ravine map is a mix of open urban park and a fun little forested ravine area. The map that will be used will be fairly small with a lot of different controls and a lot of detail, so a good opportunity for map reading and control description reading.

Registration

Register by clicking on the registration button on this page. The registration is handled by a third-party system 2mev and it will ask you to create an account if you don't already have one. You'll be also able to become a member pay your membership fees during the registration process.

Courses

All courses are beginner friendly, and participants have the option to do 1, 2, 3 or 4 loops, each being roughly 1 km in length, so the only difference between the options is distance. There will be a mass start at 6:45 for everyone wanting to join the chaos of the Farsta. Individual starts will also be available:)

6:45 pm Mass start

Start Location/Parking/Transit:

Start will be at or near the wading pool just off of Nootka in Renfrew Community Park.

Street parking is available along Nootka and there's also parking by the community centre.

Buses run along 22nd and Renfrew, and the Skytrain stop at Nanaimo is approximately 1.3 km from the start.
