Meeting location

  • Meet at the South corner of the park. You can see a pin in the map below.
  • The event lasts from 18:30 to 20:00; no one will be allowed to start after 19:30.
  • If you are new to the sport, please arrive at 18:00 to receive some coaching.

Courses

  • There will be three courses: a Beginner course and two more advanced loops. Those that are normally running the intermediate or advanced courses should run both loops!
    • Beginner: 1.8km (10 controls)
    • Loop 1: 1.3km (12 controls)
    • Loop 2: 2.9km (18 controls)

Parking

  • There is street parking along W 75th Ave and a quite a few lots along it.

Notes

  • The public washrooms at the park are closed for the winter. There are many nearby businesses, but it is unlikely they will be open, so please keep this in mind.
  • It is a public park, so please be mindful of other park users.
  • It will be muddy, so bring extra clothes and wear shoes you don't mind getting dirty.

Post-event social

  • Post-event we will be heading to Wang's Taiwan Beef Noodle House (8390 Granville St).
