Organizers: Joanne Woods (Organizer), Stan Woods (Coach), Adam Woods (Coach)

This is a training event designed to help people improve their navigation skills using contour lines and forest features. Do you find orienteering in city parks easy, but have difficulty orienteering in the forest? Are you registered for the WCOC in Kelowna and need to brush up on your forest navigation? If you answered 'yes', to either of those questions, then this event is for you.

We will be meeting at the Woodhaven Swamp parking lot and going for a 2-3 hour walk on the Ioco map. We will have 2 options

1. Walk in the Woods -lead by Stan & Joanne Woods

2. Wild run in the Woods - lead by Adam Woods

There is limited parking at the Woodhaven Swamp, so registration will be limited to 22 participants. Car pooling to the event is recommended due to the limited parking. (pay parking is in effect at this location $2.50/hour)

Cost is $10 per person.

REgistration is now open
