Organizer: Brian Ellis (Event Director)

Did you know that you are not only a member of GVOC, but also a member of Orienteering BC? And that the 2021 Annual General Meeting of OBC has been scheduled for Sunday, November 28 (7:00pm)? This will (again) be a virtual meeting, conducted over Zoom (the Zoom link will be forwarded to you closer to the time of the meeting.)

The AGM is an important function for every non-profit organization; not only do we briefly review the highs and lows from our past year of orienteering activity in BC, but we have to elect those fine volunteers who have offered to help oversee the association’s activities in the coming year.

This year, we also need to approve our revised OABC Constitution and Bylaws, via a Special Resolution.

However, it’s not all work and no play! Like last year, the AGM will be immediately followed by a (hopefully!) entertaining set of “armchair orienteering” activities devised to gently test your ‘O’ knowledge (individually or in teams), together with a short romp through the marvelous world of ‘orienteering tourism’…. something for everyone!

Please be sure to pencil this date into your calendar; everyone is very welcome.
