Hi FRIENDS!
Come out and join a fantastic training run in the liquid sunshine. It is getting darker in the evenings so remember to bring a headlamp.
Two courses this week: a shorter point-to-point beginner course and a longer dog bones-style rat race! "Dog bones" are lots of fun. Controls are shown on the map in pairs and you choose your own route between the pairs of controls and run the pair in either order. Sounds complicated but is actually quite simple. We will be on site to explain how it works.
Excited to see you all. Please sign up by Tuesday night so I can print enough maps on Wednesday morning.
There is usually free parking around Callister park on the west side of Renfrew.
Meeting spot is under the Ticketleader awning to the south of the PNE Coliseum. Start anytime after 6:30pm but be finished by 8:00pm.
You must be an active member of an orienteering club in order to participate, so please do the 2021 GVOC club membership and waiver if haven’t done it yet this year. If you are new to orienteering, you get a 50% discount when you join the club and it costs only $10. If you are not sure if you are a member - send the membership team an email and ask.
ON The DAY OF THE EVENT, please do the Declaration of Health by clicking here.
