Quilchena Street Scramble Weekly Virtual Training
December 7th 2020 7:00am - December 13th 2020 11:00pm
Organizers: Chris Benn (Event Director), Robyn Rennie (Assistant)
This week’s Street Scramble is in the Kerrisdale area and like the last few weeks uses an autogenerated map.The start and finish are at the south eastern part of Quilchena park and there is parking on West 33rd although is probably better on Pine Crescent.
You have to cross Arbutus St which can be busy so please be careful and use the lights. Also, there are 2 schools on the map so please try and go out of school hours.
Route choices include the Arbutus Greenway which for those have not used it is now a popular cycling and running path- details at https://vancouver.ca/streets-transportation/arbutus-greenway.aspx.
Please note there are no pin flags .

MapRunF
This event is available in MapRunF under “Select an Event > Canada > British Columbia > Vancouver > Street Series”. Once again the phone is the weak link in this system as it takes a moment to catch up with you as you pass through a control. However it will give you a track at the end to see where you went. GPS watch or timing device tracks can also be uploaded on the MapRunF website to compare your route to others.
