Map: Lafarge Lake

There are two courses: Short (3.5 km, 35 m of climb) and Long (4.9 km, 55 m of climb). The terrain is mostly park and urban, and both courses are suitable for beginners and avoid the busier, walking trails adjacent to Lafarge Lake.

There is a parking lot off of Pinetree Way. Google “Pinetree Community Centre” for directions. The Community Center is currently closed and the parking lot should not be busy. Park in the south-west part of the parking lot and walk to the "Start" which is in the North-East corner of the parking lot. You can also walk to the Start by walking North from the "Lafarge Lake Douglas" Skytrain station.

Both orienteering courses use the elevated pathway to cross Pinetree Way. The elevated pathway is shown on the paper map and on the control description as a mandatory crossing .
