Start times are anytime between and . Course closes at and controls are picked up. The famous "String Course" for newcomers will make map reading "crystal clear" and is highly recommended for warmup prior to competition...

Four courses will be offered:

Course One: 1.7 km for ages 12-13

Course Two: 2.6 km for ages 14-15

Course Three: 3.6 km for ages 16-17

Course Four: 6.3 km for experienced orienteers.

The electronic "SI" timing system will be used for Course Four only.

Cost:

Family Groups/Cubs/wayfares: $5.00 per map.

Teenagers: $7.00

Seniors: $10.00 for members of above groups. $11.00 for nonmembers.

A small snack will be provided to finishers. Bring your lunch and chairs/tables for post event relaxation with the numerous rabbits, sunshine and chance to hike to Falls.

Start Location: adjacent to public parking area. Water and outdoor toilets are available.

Precautions: The main road to Loon Lake Camp will be active with University Students driving to Lodge. Look both ways before crossing gravel roads.

NO DOGS and NO BICYCLES on the PRIVATE research forest lands.

Snow fell Monday night Apr 11th. The forest is not like the dry conditions of September 2004 BC Orienteering Champs. Bridges are slippery. Logs are slippery. Trails are, however, quite clear and runnable.
