**Anyone who signs up for 1st time this year (2023) will get a 2024 membership as well !**

This is the last weekend orienteering event of the year and it is on a Saturday!

This will be a FARSTA format like last year:

The start and finish will be just outside the Brockton Oval pavilion and the event will be followed by a social gathering (with pizza etc) and a short AGM - both inside the pavilion so it will be dry and warm.

The event itself promises to be interesting and make the most of a newly updated map.

There will a mass start for the courses with 3 courses on offer.

  • Long ...6500 m, 34 controls

  • Medium ...4900 m, 23 controls

  • Short ...3500 m, 17 controls

The long and medium courses will also have a map flip.

You can see who has signed up here.

The pavilion has showers and places to change. The social and AGM will be help upstairs with the club providing pizza. The pavilion people would like you not to bring your own beverages but to purchase them (hot chocolate, coffee etc.) from the bar.

Please sign up by Friday Dec 15th midday so that enough maps can be printed.

You can leave bags and clothing in the pavilion - the club has sole use of the place for the event. There are also showers and changing areas just inside the pavilion.

The pavilion people have asked that

-- dirty shoes taken off before going upstairs for social

- please do not consume own beverages on premises - they will provide coffee, hot chocolate etc. at a small cost.
