Map: Lougheed North

The Wednesday Evening Training is tricky this week, as it is not on a Wednesday, but rather a Tuesday evening. So it is not really a WET, but a TET (aka Tuesday Evening Training).

We will have a series of point to point courses on the Lougheed North Map. Meet just outside of the Cameron Library.

There will be a 5 km "Toonie Tuesday" course for the more experienced, as well as some shorter "Loonie loops" for the beginners. The beginners can do as many courses as they want to. Don't be tricked by the name - there is no fee for this event.

If the experienced participants want more of a challenge, they can do the Loonie Loops as memory "O" courses - tricky!

Meeting point is just northeast of the Cameron Library. We recommend using the parking lot on the east side of the Cameron recreation & library complex. If using public transport to get there, Lougheed Mall Skytrain station is the closest stop.

Starting time 6:30 pm. If you are a beginner or need some instruction feel free to show up at 6:00.

Please register by noon on Tuesday June 20th so we know how many maps to print. Thanks and hope to see you there.

Plan to stay afterwards for a picnic. If you don't have time to pack a picnic, there is a nearby restaurant the Golden Pita, which closes at 7:30. Order your food before the event and we will have someone pick up the food just before they close.
