Trout Lake Park Wednesday Evening Training

This event is all about ROUTE CHOICE! On an urban park requiring mostly runners or very light trail runners for grass and some pavement running.
Beginner - Suitable for first-time orienteers and youths
Intermediate - A step above beginner in navigation but a lot longer
Expert - Suitable for experienced orienteers who would like a shorter course
Elite - Suitable for experienced orienteers who would like a longer run
6:15pm Introduction to Orienteering for Beginners
8:00 pm Course Closure, participants must report to the Finish before leaving.
Always use good judgement and common sense. Carry a whistle at all times. Headlamps are essential to see and be seen. Take care when crossing roads and parking lots. Watch out for other runners, cyclists, and trail/sidewalk users.
Park in the Trout Lake Community Centre Parking lot.
Start will be outside the Community Centre behind the baseball diamond fencing.
