What better way to spend our beautiful spring weather than an orienteering event at UBC Research Forest (also known as Silver Valley West, Maple Ridge)? Rachel Caulfield and Reid Howard have designed a superb set of courses that will satisfy all comers. Start times are between 10 and 11 AM. Consider car pooling to meet site.
Full lower leg covering recommended for longer courses. Spikes are reasonable option.
Please remember to avoid all research projects that have been set up throughout the woods. Out of bounds areas include the house and sawmill in the north west section of the map and the river making up the eastern boundary of the map (both marked with purple hash lines).
Course closure is 2 PM.
