2 Loops

Map: PNE

Hey all,

Come on out to this week's evening training at the PNE!

In light of impending Spring Camp, format will be a Farsta-style course, which consists of running 3 loops: the first 2 loops will be two variations run in different orders, and the final loop will be common to everyone. There will be a mass start at 6:45pm. If this doesn't make sense, come on out anyways, and everything will be explained in greater detail.

If you're looking for something a little quieter, there's also beginner options to run 1 or 2 of the 3 loops, although the terrain around the PNE is mostly urban, with lots of buildings and a lot of very distinct features, so navigation should be more straightforward than most forested maps.

Remember your headlamp, and hope to see everyone out there!

Safety Precautions

Always use good judgement and common sense. Carry a whistle at all times. Headlamps are essential to see and be seen. Take care when crossing roads and parking lots. Watch out for other runners, cyclists, and trail/sidewalk users. Hastings street can only be crossed at the designated crosswalk at Renfrew, which is also shown on the maps.

Parking/Start Location: Meet by Southwest corner of the Pacific Colliseum (see map). Should be parking on the streets near this and buses run down Renfrew and Hastings.
