Fraser River Park (Vancouver) Wednesday Evening Training
June 21st 2017 6:30pm - 8:00pm
Organizers: George Pugh (Event Director), Jules Tough (Membership)
Map: George Pugh / Fraser River Park
Description
This week's run in the park will be a decided change from the successful Sumas Mountain weekend. Fraser River Park is a delightfully beautiful location on the banks of the Fraser, with lots of planes landing in background, tug boats motoring up and down the 'north arm', and it's the 2nd day of summer! As the Canadian Champs are only 6 weeks away, the longer course will be >5 km with option to shorten if you wish. Ordinary running shoes will be fine. High tide is at 17:22, so there will be NO crossing of mud flats...
Schedule
6:15pm Introduction to Orienteering for Beginners
6:45pm
8pm Course Closure, participants must report to the Finish before leaving.
