Join us for a technical orienteering practice in Vanier Park. Meet at the gravel parking lot in Vanier Park at 10:00am.
Course description:
7.16 km course with 93 controls.
Directions to meet site:
From Cornwall Avenue, turn North on Chestnut Street. After about 500m, turn right (east) onto the road towards the archives and the coast guard station. You will pass by the big parking lot for the planetarium on the left, and 300m after this parking lot, you'll see a gravel parking lot on the right.
Controls:
Depending a bit how many sign up, I might place some pin flags at the control locations. I would need about 3-4 people to help me to place controls. Each person can place 20 controls each (will only take 20 minutes each). Let me know if you want to help.
Costs:
To cover printing costs, please bring $2. You can also pay $5 for all training sessions this spring (5 sessions).
