Whytecliff Wednesday Evening Training

Description Whytecliffe is a small but challenging park mapped at 1:4000 scale.
The advanced course is 4 loops, each returning to the start. Expect to be off trail and to do a lot of climbing.
Loop 1: 700 metres 5 controls
Loop 2: 900 metres 9 controls
Loop 3: 1000 metres 6 controls
Loop 4: 1000 metres 6 controls
For those who wish, there will be a mass start at 6:40. Otherwise, you may start earlier or later.
The intermediate course will have easier controls and little or no bushwhacking. 2300 metres 13 controls.
Whytecliffe does not have public transit nearby. If you need a ride, add a note when you register.

6:15 pm - Introduction to Orienteering for Beginners
6:30 pm - Starts begin for both courses
8:00 pm - Course Closure, participants must report to the Finish by Course Closure Time.
