Explore beautiful Ambleside Park on this (hopefully) sunny day! This is my first course I've ever made so please feel free to give me feedback!

6:15pm Introduction to Orienteering for Beginners

6:30pm Starts

8pm Course Closure, participants must report to the Finish before leaving.

Courses

Beginner: New here? This course is for you! Get a nice intro into the world of orienteering! Also great for those who want to take it easy.

11 Controls

Intermediate: Great for those who have done orienteering before and want something more exciting, and those who don't want to run the whole Advanced course.

24 Controls

Advanced: For those who really want to challenge themselves! Contains four boxes, in which you visit all of the controls in the box in any order you like!

Safety Precautions

Always use good judgement and common sense. Carry a whistle at all times. Headlamps are essential to see and be seen. Take care when crossing roads and parking lots. Watch out for other runners, cyclists, and trail/sidewalk users.

Parking/Start Location:

The start location is north of the washrooms, just next to the playground. There is parking north of this building, and overflow parking further past the building to the east. See the map below for more details.
