Map: Cates Park

Come and "test drive" the new map of a scenic and detailed area!

The weather is beautiful, so why not bring a picnic, and warm clothing to stay for supper afterwards?

Historic Cates Park is in North Vancouver, on the windy and scenic point where Indian Arm joins Burrard Inlet. Take the Dollarton Highway exit at the north end of Second narrows Bridge, and travel about 4.5 km. east on Dollarton Highway to Cates Park, also known as "Whey-Ah-Whichen" or "Facing the Wind". The start will be from the picnic shelter near the boat launching ramp.

Since the park is fairly small, there will be two loops. You'll get your second map once you've finished your first loop. You can always opt to do only one loop. Please arrive by 6:30 pm for registration. Mass start at 6:45 pm.

N.B Please sign sign up (passholders too) on this site by Saturday at midnight, so I know how many maps to print.

See you there,

Margo
